The Sacramento Kings are not going to make the playoffs. The truth of the matter is that they may end up with the worst record in the Western Conference. There are a couple of phenomenal young players there in Tyreke Evans and DeMarcus Cousins.

The question is whether Evans and Cousins can show the maturity both on and off the court in order to move this franchise forward. It is also clear that Donte Green is not someone who would be able to get along with Cousins so the Kings may have to decide about which player they should keep and which player they should get rid of. Cousins is the kind of player that can actually convince fans that it is a good idea to watch an exciting Kings game.

The Kings are probably going to revamp their roster in the coming years. There are many observers who believe that the Maloof brothers are planning a move to Anaheim and they are going to want to add a couple of pieces so they can move ahead and draw fairly big crowds much like the Anaheim Angels are capable of drawing. It seems that Miami has a problem with close games. It’s not strange if you consider where they are coming from.

Atlanta on the other hand, seems to have no problem with that and is probably very happy that both trends in fact continued last night when two teams played one another in the American Airlines Arena in Miami.

It must be devastating to Miami to have lost on their home court, no doubt about that. For Atlanta, the 93-89 victory over the Heat means their rankings are going up. It was, naturally their on the road victory.

Ben Wallace has been his typical self, as he barely scores any points, but he does grab rebounds. He is currently averaging 3 points per game and 8.3 rebounds per game. In a strange statistic, Detroit shoots just over 26 percent in the first 3 minutes of the second half, which leads to them spending the rest of the half trying to overcome a deficit.
